...but this one might be worse than any of them.  They're about to drop to 0-9 on the season, and the brutal early schedule offers no relief any time soon.  The pitching is putrid, the defense is worse, and an already anemic offense just lost Hector Olivera to a domestic violence suspension (really glad we traded Alex Wood for that assclown).

At least the future is bright.  The farm system is already either #1 or #2, depending on which ranking you believe, and they're going to get even better over the summer.  The Braves have the #3 overall pick in the draft, and 2 more picks in the top 40.  They're prepared to break the bank in a loaded international pool this July.  And it sure looks like they'll be drafting really high next year, as well.  Plus, outside of Freddie Freeman, they have practically zero money committed to payroll beyond this season.  So if they want to go after some free agents, the money should be there (the new ballpark should help with revenue, too).  I think they should be able to contend again by 2018.  Maybe even 2017, if they go on a big spending spree in the offseason.

Hard to believe as long as the Braves have been there and them being in a big market and also with some good/great talent they've had over the years they only have 1 championship to show for it.

With that said.....GO CARDS!!!

Love the Braves. Never thought they would fall this much. Kinda like the Vols. 0-162 is a possibility....lol. Hope they get the ship righted once they move to new stadium.

Once you lose those TBS broadcasts with Caray & Van Wieren, it is all downhill from there....
