Why does this team continue to play so sloppy early? Going to catch up to us in SEC games.

Actually we played well the first couple drives, THEN got sloppy.  No need to thank me. I'm here all day.

Really, other than the slight overthrow on the deep ball earlier, Dobbs hasn't thrown a bad pass today.

Until  you jinxed him

Ware I'd CLUELESS and a MORON
He apparently doesn't do his homework and is NOT observant
We practice centerQB snaps the FIRST thing EVERY pre game!

True, but he and ... well pretty much everyone .... are correct that we should almost always go under center in short yardage situations.

Some Halftime scores:

Miami 24, App St 3 (@ App St!)

Memphis 33, Kansas 7 (Ohio beat Kansas 37-21, I believe)

Vols 14, Ohio 12

Wow.

Is that all you got? A person can't be aggravated at bad performance on the field? Why am I a Bamer just because I'm not happy with our performance. Only a chickenshizzle calls someone a Bamer. All I ask for is improvement from week to week.. I'm still waiting

No. I plan to troll you unmercifully. You are not a Vol. It is obvious.

My thoughts...we started well, and even with the score, I wasn't concerned util late 2nd quarter.  Because....

1. They didn't really stop us until the fifth drive.  We gave up one really stupid int (thanks Williams!) and Dobbs made a very poor decision leading to a long sack leading to a missed 55 yard FG.  Other than that we moved the ball well I thought.

2. On defense, in spite of continuing a drive with TWO penalties, and spotting them the ball at the 10 with the aforemented int, we held them to 9 points.  Take away dumb mistakes and they only have 3.  So generally, other than a couple misses and the penalties, I am happy with the D.

BUT....from about the middle of the 2nd...

1. All of a sudden Dobbs can't hit anything.  He missed a wide open Malone (although Malone may have slipped?) for a long 3rd down conversion that we needed, and overthrew Malone later on a sure 6 points.   Not good!

2. Defense is riddled with injuries, and not trivial ones!  We are now playing McDowell and Jumper at LB, and I am unsure we even HAVE a backup left.  ANd of course Sutton is out (but at least it's not a knee!).

I still think we win, but we need to get a quick stop on the first series of the half.  Again, D playing pretty well in spite of injuries. Dobbs needs to remove head from posterior and figure out how to hit wide open WRs, or it will be a long day.

LOL.....how folks expect this team to beat Bama with efforts like today. Vols struggles against inferior talent continue. I just want to see some improvement from week to week.

LOL, you mad Bammer?

"I still think we win". That part of your quote says it all. We are playing Ohio. Not an SEC foe. I still think the hype is hurting this team worse than anything. They are pressing too hard to live up to it. I don't have the answer. Sorry if I get to cynical.
