School bus crash today, at least 6 kids dead so far, 23 more hospitalized.

OMG. So sorry to hear of such a tragedy. It's one thing when adults die, but it's entirely something else when children pass on...so hard to handle. God bless each and every family and may He grant them some kind of peace and be with them all.

This town has really been through it the past couple years.  The terrorist shootings, Ooltewah rape case, drought, wildfires, now this.  Not to mention the ongoing gang war that's turning Eastlake into one of America's most dangerous neighborhoods.  Once upon a time, our local headlines hardly ever made the national news.  Now it happens all the time.

We're due for some good news.
