Rosen just stated picking them apart and A&M's freshman QB went cold. Rosen had over 490 yards and 4 TD's in the 4th quarter.

It usually takes aTm 6 or 7 games to implode, but Chavis cut that down to just 2 quarters!  Excellent hire Coach Sumlin!

Amazing. Guess this is Chavis' last year period, and Sumlin's final season at A&M.

ESPN's win probability chart. Classic Chavis, but he outdid himself on this one.

I'm convinced that had Fulmer dropped Chavis way back when he SHOULD have been fired, Fulmer would still be the head coach

A&M back up qb was snapping the ball way too early on their last couple of possessions before Bruins took the lead..They were snapping the ball with 15 seconds or so still on the play clock..Could have melted at least a couple of  more mins off the clock..Serious lack of focus melt down for sure.

Yep.....and Butch has done the same. OU and FL 2 years ago comes to mind among others. When you do that and your offense is going 3 and out you are just giving the other offense more possessions. Back in my coaching days with the lead we told our backs....get up very slowly. Told our O linemen to lay on the ground for several seconds before getting your big a$$es off the ground. Now with these X-Box offenses they hurry back to the LOS and snap the ball with 18 seconds left on the play clock. Don't understand it.

The crowning achievement in a long career of choking away leads late.

Actually I hate it for him, because other than that one glaring flaw of going prevent (a) with a big lead or (b) on third and long, he was/is a great DC.   I hate it for him because he helped lead Tennessee to some of it's greatest heights, and he deserves better.

But I guess he just is blind to his fault on this one.
