What everyone says is that teams don't have to throw on us because they run so well, some of which is true.  Also true is that Ga Tech doesn't bother to throw the ball, Georgia has a true frosh QB, Florida continues to struggle at QB, and bammer hasn't cared to field a QB who can throw worth a shizzle in two years now.  Noe of the other teams we have faced have much at QB either, with one excepted.

That leaves the best QB we have faced to be Bentley of USC junior.  He only threw for 124 yards against us with no TDs.

I may be reaching for straws, and I admit that our weak run D probably makes the pass D look good, but we at least seem to match up well with Missouri on paper.

I guess we will see how that translates to the field.

Also seems to be incorrect.

we are dead last in the SEC in pass yards allowed and 111th in the country, per this site

http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/natlRank.jsp?year=2012&rpt=IA_teampassdef&site=org&div=IA&dest=O

We are 83rd in the country in pass efficiency

http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/natlRank.jsp?year=2012&div=IA&rpt=IA_teamdefpasseff&site=org&div=IA&dest=O

Dams.

I will root hard for the Vols anyway.  Maybe the really suspect mizzou D will let us score a bunch.

Those stats are from 2012.  This year our pass D has been better, probably for many of the reasons you mentioned.  I don't think that will hold up tonight though.

We don't get pressure on the QBs.....Mizzou QB will pick us a part if he's on tonight. UGA would have had 2 more TDs the first half against Auburn because he had WRs wide open for TDs....but it's hard to throw when your ass is on the ground. We just don't pressure the QB and the Mizzou QB gets rid of the ball quick.
