Not in top 15

https://247sports.com/Article/Whats-the-best-job-in-college-football-247Sports-makes-the-call-51394389

Not in top 10

https://www.chatsports.com/ncaa/a/these-are-top-ten-college-football-coaching-jobs-country-36208

20th here, which covers 130 schools

https://armchairallamericans.com/definitively-ranking-all-130-college-football-head-coaching-jobs/

Also not in this top 10

https://www.seccountry.com/sec/fox-sports-radio-hosts-list-4-sec-programs-top-10-best-jobs-college-football

So the only one that went farther than 15 has us at 20.  Probably about right at the moment.  I could see a couple spots higher, but nothing to quibble over much.

Oregon, Washington, Michigan State & Stanford above UT? I don't see it.

Location might help them some, but living in Seattle wouldn't change the fact that UW only has some flash in the pan seasons and there's a huge void of tradition associated to the school.

I'd put UT at the bottom of the top 10 list

After more thought, I'd put UT in the 10-15 range

Yeah, I think the author is too influenced by recent history.  But to be fair, the recent history does matter more.  Oregon is doing pretty well recently and is swimming in money, so I might leave them ahead of us possibly.  UW actually has the tradition of historically being the second best team in the Pac 12/10/8 behind USC, and did win the NC back in 1990.  They actually are pretty comparable to us but we do have more tradition by a bit.

Michigan State we should definitely be ahead of, and for that matter Tamu although it's only one place.  I'd go with 15-16, but given the last wretched decade and recruiting difficulties I can't see us at 10 at this point.
