Packed house...national TV with 2 ranked teams to a Wed 9pm game. Has to be a downer.

Furman is not a bad team and they were on a hot streak.  I give kudos to the Vols for hanging tough.

Sandwiched between two ACC opponents, last game before Christmas, dead atmosphere with the students away on break.  And Furman's a really good team, one of the preseason favorites to win the SoCon.  This one had all the ingredients of the classic trap game.  I'm just happy we got out with the W.

Looked a lot better than UNC!  Refreshing to have an exciting team to watch again.
