Damn, that was ugly. Easily our worst game of the season, on both ends. I would DEFINITELY vote the Duke/UVa winner #1 now.

I don't know what it is about Avery Johnson, but he seems to have Barnes figured out. They were getting open looks all day long today. A win's a win, but this should light a fire under some asses. |

Yep....Need to refocus and stop reading the press clippings. 2nd half of the past 2 games have been bad. Got to win these close games like we did today playing ugly BB. |

Fine line between "swag" and "too cocky". Admiral's flexing isn't as cool when we have a 2nd half defensive effort like that.

Glad we got the W, but Barnes was right: fortunate to win.
They did what they wanted offensively for the entire game. Thank goodness that they started slow in the 1st half, can't make free throws, and for Bowden's D on Petty down the stretch.
All that said, maybe this will be good for this team. It's way better to learn from an ugly win than from a loss.
