With all the high profile transfers, why have we been left out?  An obvious answer is that players want an established program where they are already set up to excel, OU and OSU certainly fit that with Hurts and Fields, as does Eason at UDub (and how bad does it suck that three Uga or former Uga QBs are thriving  ), but what about Bryant to Mizzou?  Can we get one like him?  I'd say our recent passing game history might be a discouragement, and we are losing most of our WR corps.

But if JT Shrout (likely) and Maurer (inexperience?) are really worse than JG, maybe a transfer for next year is the answer, even if they only have a year or two of eligibility left.

Yep.  And since he is on his own dime, if he doesn't like what he sees or his status at UT he can leave UT and be eligible immediately somewhere else next year, too.

Yeah, I knew about Hill.  Thought he was in his last year of eligibility.  Appears he has two left.  If so, why not give him a shot?

Because he has to sit this year.  He didn't get a transfer waiver.
