I was hoping he would play. Looking at his stats, is he a head and shoulders upgrade over the other two QB's? Probably not. On the season, Maurer has completed 27 of his 55 pass attempts for 426 yards, two touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also has 30 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns on 19 carries. His main attribute is his competitiveness. Which is what we need. Concussions are a scary animal and  we shouldn't rush him back in. Which sucks for this weekends game.

The weather looks less than ideal, to say the least. I'm not sure which team that favors since USCe's run game is definitely their strength. It's going to be a low-scoring slugfest either way.

see a lot of social media talk about booing JG Saturday. What is your take on it...is it a do or a don't? Let's be honest, we've booed a lot better players than JG. I just have a hard time booing a Vol. Even JG.

I wouldn't, but people will.  I understand why.

Don't think we should.
