With the exception of that 2016 second half against Florida, I think this was the most enjoyable Tennessee game since the '09 wins over Georgia and South Carolina. Sure, there was that Dobbnail Boot game against UGA in 2016, and that was obviously fun, but it was just euphoria because of the final play. Up until that point it was actually frustrating because Tennessee had gotten down 15-0 and continued to under-achieve.
I'd say biggest win since UK last year, most satisfying since Florida 2016. Or maybe Georgia 2018.
But in terms of significance to the program, given Pruitt's second year status and how this season started, yes maybe the USC game in Spurriers final season, but maybe even farther back.
But whatever, best win in a long long time.😁
