Listening to Davis post game it is about DEFENSE this year  Kelly seems to be instilling Pat's mantra about defense and boards.
I suspect they will be inconsistent at times but I think they are better than last year with lots of room to improve.

Only one player under six feet. They are long and lanky and fast. They look much more like the athletes that are needed in the game today.

Just found out before the game Zaay Green is lost for the year with a ACL she tore in practice over the weekend.
