This sucks for him and for the team.

First off I hope that he recovers better than ever.

As for the team, I've never thought that LT was a great fit at the PG position - but he was undoubtedly the best we had. Barnes said earlier this week that he didn't expect Vescovi to play this season and he is only 17.

Making the NCAA tourney just became much more difficult. Lost our PG and a player that was counted on for scoring.

Agreed. I think Barnes has to play Vescovi now.

Could have sworn I read Turner had shoulder surgery in the off season?

Shoulder surgeries can be tough. I pray he gets the best possible medical treatment and is able to make a run at playing in the future.

Sorry to hear. Hope the surgery goes well and he fully recovers. Hate for any kid to get hurt. As someone said before he is a great Vol. This incoming recruiting class will be huge. The SEC is kinda stinking it up so far this basketball season.
