I understand about getting your people the proper rest - physically and mentally, but that seems like a huge mistake to me. A break like that should be earned, and I don't think they have come close to earning it. Taking 2 days off kinda tells me both the players and the staff are not really committed to reaching excellence. It's just too hard to get there, I suppose. Time to lay down on the couch and take a nap. That will make it all better (Hell, it works for me

And the COVID point is right, that will probably bite us, just you wait and see.
