All this to lose to Ga State one year then go 3-7 the next.

Dude can't even cheat well.

murf, I would say some of both.

In hindsight, Patterson would have probably been a really good hire.

I don't remember any proven coaches wanting the job when we hired Dooley, or Butch, or Pruitt.  I could very well be wrong about that, though.

That's a good point. I'd throw Leach in the "decent" category, but I can't remember any other options.

I wonder if increased salaries have made moves less likely. If you can make $2 million/year on a four year deal as the head coach at Iowa State, or $1 million/year as a coordinator at a solid program the need to move is less.

Welp, buckle up. Trey Wallace says more bad news to come on this front in the next few days.

Yep.

Hearing that UT may "accept" the bowl bid today, but later in the week could back out.

It's just time.  It's my belief that Poot and Fulmer will both be walking sooner rather than later.

In the VolsWire article today, the NCAA guy in the article was questioning why this is made public before the investigation is complete, therefore crucifying the program and staff in the process. Look at how Florida handled their issue because nobody knew anything about it. It was after all the internal investigations were completed and their results/findings were provided to the media. Makes you wonder what is going on in this administration.

You are not the first to say this. Rucker tweeted it right after it broke, or something similar.

Knoxville media loves to do anything to hurt the program....Look at Adams over many years. Good point on FL...didn't known anything until this came out on the yesterday.
