OL Coach = GONE!
QB Coach = GONE!
ILB Coach - GONE!
Secondary Coach = GONE (both of them!)!
If we had one, ST Coach = GONE!
If we had one, DL Coach = GONE!

Definitely agree on the first, mostly on the second, though I would have liked to see what Wienke could do with more of Harrison/Shrout/Mauer and less of JG

Not sure about ILB coach, but I'll take your word for it.

I would like to see Tee get a shot at QB coach.  If nothing else, there is no where to go but up!

Seen either a) recruiting or b) QB development by Weinke?
Hell no on both counts IMO!

Not sure about the recruiting.  Who got Salter to commit?

And I actually agree with you Pirate. Down below somewhere I noted that Weinke's track record is two years with the St Louis Rams, at the end of which he was fired.  He only has 5 years total coaching experience, 3 with the Vols (plus one year as an "analyst" at UA).  That is a razor thin resume, not sure why he is the QB coach to begin with?

I'm just being fair to the guy because he has been mostly stuck with JG, and I question if even Bill Bellichek or Lane Kiffin could get anything more out of JG.  (But hey, Butch might get a shot   )

The only coach I want to see retained is Jay Graham.

The rest can take their buyout and hit the road.

And our current AD can go with them.

in that case, fire everybody and let the new HBC sort it out
And the new HBC better be an offensive minded one

And I hope Graham doesn't head over to USCe with his buddy. Our luck Friend stays here and Jay leaves.

It's true that Orgeron's success last year was (other than the obvious of Burrow) predicated to a large extent on his DC and OC, both of whom left. I guess he is trying to rectify that now.

Yeah, but the assistant that actually enabled that lightning in a bottle last year left after the NC game

Will Friend has left for South Carolina.

Given that he and Pruitt are best Friends, pun intended, it should be a pretty good indicator that Pruitt isn't coming back.

I think Friend and Bobo are good friends as well at that might portend that Bobo will continue as the OC at Jr.
Also, was Friend being retained? his contract is up

Either that or Pruitt told his friend, Friend he needs to look around because Pruitt was TOLD that his friend, Friend would not be back next season.

If so, maybe give Fulmer a bit of credit for that.  If Fulmer knows anything, it's the OL.

As I post elsewhere, we were 85th in the country in yards per attempt and 109th in sacks allowed.  That is gross staggering mind boggling infinite...well, incompetence on a scale that is hard to imagine.  We had at least 3 Five stars this year, depending on which rating service you use for Darnell Wright (the other two being Trey Smith and Wanya Morris who were consensuse, and IIRC, maybe even Cade Mays).  That is unbelievably bad. In all my years of following football I'm not sure I have ever seen under performance like that

Its a good move.  Will it help turn the team around?  IDK, doubt it, but it sure can't hurt.

Yeah, Football Scoop says that Bobo will stay on as Beamer's OC.

No word yet on whether or not Beamer is hiring Bozo to his staff.

Friend was Bobo's OL coach at Colorado State....Friend left CSU to come to UT.  I hope Graham doesn't head there too...He and Bobo coached together at USC under Spurrier. Jay's position group was probably the best on our team.

Yep.  One of the few bright spots.
