.... that the UF, UGA and Bama games are sure losses.

But looking at the action today, we have a chance to win the rest of them.

We also have a chance to lose the rest of them.

But I believe that our chance to win the rest of them is greater than our chance to lose the rest of them.

So we've got that going for us.

This is exactly where I am. Anything below those three, we can win! Hope we do!

Do we really wanna run a hurry up offense against any of these three teams?  I don't see that as sound strategy.

I don’t know whether you and I want them to go fast paced, but I’m fairly certain that CJH is completely dedicated to that offense.

Vols have only a small chance to win, it would likely only occur with a lot of gator turnovers, but I am on record as saying my only expectation for this season is that the offense significantly improve (it has so far).

Thus, I will be upset if we score under 20, and I'll be very happy if we score over 30.  I don't think we have faced a decent defense yet.  Hell, I don't think we've faced a bad defense yet. They were all putrid, terrible, awful, whatever you call the bottom 5% of NCAA defenses.

This needless to say will be our first real test on offense. Heupel is an offensive coach. I don't see us winning much this season or the next few without him delivering.  Saturday is his chance to show me what he can do in a non-exhibition game.

Chicken/egg thing with him.  He doesn't have the personnel to run it like he wants to yet, but he wants to see potential recruits what his offense looks like.

No win situation right now.  But it is exactly what it is.

Kiffin ain't having no problems with his offense yet? Their skill positions are talented as any in the country. I don't think we keep up with them when we play them.

Yeah, he is in year 2 as well.
OM was very inconsistent last year, even with the flying clipboard

Hate to say it, but I might add Ole MIss to the list of three above.  Watching our defense against Pitt and thinking about what Ole Miss might do was not fun.

Having said that, I'll call Ole Miss a tweener game, since we have at least potential on offense and its at home.  Ole Miss defense looks to have improved, but its a long season.  By the time we play them we will have a better idea of where both teams are.
