Hard to argue this one wasn't deserved either.

In the case of Pruitt, he fired Rocker, who had the DL playing well apparently because he couldn't or maybe wouldn't recruit.  Then his successor didn't do as well it seems.  Recruiting is important, but so is development and I guess you need a balance.

His successor was Pruitt (and a GA)
Their performance fell over a cliff (their pregame warmups were disorganized as hell, the substitution pattern was weird and their play fizzleing sucked!)
You can see the difference in quality of DL coaches looking at the DL play under Garner

Rocker was the DL coach in 2018-19, was let go in off season, and was replaced by Jimmy Brumbaugh, who was then fired in the Kentucky game. I was saying the DL didnt do as well through the first 3.5 games which led to the Brumbaugh firing.

I have no doubt it got even worse from there on, but the DL didnt do as well with Brumbaugh as it did with Rocker.

IIRC he went to usc east for 1 year and now is the DL coach for the Philadelphia Eagles

Yep, he went to SC(e) then spent perhaps a week at Auburn (went with Bobo) before moving to the Eagles

He is definitely in demand!  And no recruiting duties at Philly. Just another indication that Pruitt was not HC material, but a big one, considering he fired Brumbaugh in the middle of a game (smh).

This goes along with the numerous reports of personality conflict on Pruitt's part, including allegations of a near assualt on Richt while at Uga.  A HC has to be able to manage people for sure, and I am pretty sure that wasn't one of Pruitt's strengths.
