just have to pray it's not serious.

Or...its bad enough to miss bama, which is likely a ass whipping but then he comes back after the bye week. That might be possible, maybe.

It didn't look good, but I sincerely hope that he will be OK.  This team could be in big trouble offensively if he is out for any length of time.

Missing Bama wouldn't be terrible.

I actually can't disagree with either of you about Hooker missing the Bama game.

It's obvious Milton will start if Hooker can't go against bammer (right or wrong), but if I'm Heupel maybe I have him run more than pass.

It's not going to fun watching Milton vs bammer, if that's what happens. I may find something else to do, come home for the 4th quarter and ffwd through it.

If Hooker is out for a period better hope Bailey gets playing time.....Milton should be done. I'd play a walkon before Milton ever saw the field again.

I'm not a fan of Milton whether he's throwing or running.  When he runs he bows up like a cutworm before he takes a hit.  The last play tonight, when he HAD to get to the endzone, he bowed up and stepped out of bounds to try to avoid taking the contact.  If he's playing, we are most likely screwed.  **I would be very happy to have to eat crow on that statement, btw.

That was a significant ankle injury

I agree with above and was having the same thought last night.

Let Milton play all of the Bama game.  Maybe we should hold out anybody who is nicked up.  THis may be a best chance to beat Bama in quite a while, but sadly our chances are still pretty damn slim.  It would make much more sense to rest the weary and play anybody who is green and needs some playing time.  We just might need their experience later on in the season.
