To be sent before the student council and be barred from attending future games

The UTAD is hot on their trails

I haven't checked, but I can only imagine there are a ton of videos out there.  This is not gonna end well for the throwers.  I think their punishment should be to sit in a room with Finebaum for an hour.

That's cruel and unusual punishment!

That's a Constitutional issue for sure!

Talked to a person I know last night.....

Her husband and her were at the game....she said the OM fans behind them were the first to throw things on the field....It started when they started to review that long 4th down to our TE...she said the OM fans were mad because they thought they would give UT a 1st down there on review so they started throwing things...then it snowballed into a free fall.

I've seen this stated elsewhere too. During the game, and with a large quantity of bourbon in my belly, I didn't think it was that big of a deal, and still don't on the spectrum of possible human behaviors. But, it got me thinking, with all of the righteous indignation by some national media & opposing fans,  about when it happened to UT in the past. Ol Mississippi fans did it in a 2019 basketball game with UT. Vandy fans used to throw oranges at UT. And, I believe Bernard King alleged that lit cigarette butts were flicked at him & the team in KY. Also, there was the infamous attack on the team bus at LSU whatever year that was. Does anybody else recall other instances? Two wrongs don't make it right. Just curious if anyone recalls other instances?

The corndog incident was 2005 (the hurricane Monday night game).  Bandit and I were there, laughing at the sobering up corndogs leaving even before Riggs scored the winning TD in OT

One of the best road trips ever.  One particular gentlemen to our right, as I recall, was shooting off his mouth about wanting Rick Clausen to take the field after AInge shat the field.  He got his wish, but didn't have much to say about it by the end of the game.

What a frustrating game. However, I do get sick of some Vol fans who keep preaching that Vols fans "are better than this". Obviously, we are not.

So do you think a hundred or so fans represent 102,455 people inside the stadium and the hundreds of thousands more who weren't there? Or are you the only one among us with moral aptitude?

So they don't count just because you don't want them to? Hope they find all of them and ban them from games for a long time. No fan base is without it's delinquents.

A few don't represent the whole. If they did, Bernie Sanders would have succeeded Ron Paul as president.

CW, I think any reasonably rational individual understands that the vast majority of Vol fans were not pleased by what happened at the end of the game on Saturday. Regretfully, the actions of a few sometimes overshadow the actions of the many. It’s sad but that is the case, and always will be.
