Pretty funny how other SEC schools have multiple threads going on “Vols gonna cry when OU hires Heupel”, seemingly trying to speak it into existence.     Somebody’s a bit worried that we’ve finally got a coach, I think.

They see the writing on the wall and they're very nervous.

I refuse to buy completely in until Heupel is hoisting the crystal ball after the SEC Championship Game. I'm way too jaded at this point. But any of our rivals that say the gnawing in their gut doesn't increase every time they see Tennessee play are lying.

The pain of Kiffin to USC is still fresh. Every day that guy is not discredited is a sign 'what comes around goes around' does not exist in truth. As a UT fan, I feel like the flatchested four-eyed freckle-faced 11 yo younger sister with braces. And as a UT fan, I know each of you is cringing at the thought of going through this again. Never say Never.

I'd get it if he left, but think OU will outsmart itself. Oddly, we're probably in as good a position to make a hire as we've ever been.

The potential hire list from last winter is still good, the team is stable, and our recruiting class isn't a game changer. Hopefully he stays, but we can survive.
