I would have said that they sucked ass but that would have been inappropriate. Although accurate.

I think expanding the playoffs could potentially help spread the recruiting wealth, eventually, but it ain't changing any time soon.

With NIL and transfer portals who knows what will happen.

Having 2 conference teams in the finals again might speed up the expansion quicker....Only the south cares about this game.

so you think expanding to 12 teams wouldn't just guarantee more crappy games like this? How can a twelfth seed be expected to compete better than what we saw tonight against a 3 seed? The two top seeds will likely get first round byes.

Top 4 likely would get a Bye. It would create blowouts (no different than what we have now) but yes, I think that given time it could possibly help to spread the recruiting wealth over a wider field.
