I read on VQ that LSU only had 39 scholarship players available for this game but were still planning to play.  Supposedly they will not have a scholarship QB on the roster tonight.

I don't know if that is accurate because I haven't check the veracity of the post, but if its true - WOW!

No.  And its not just rumors, LSU does have 39 on roster.

Kelly is a really good coach. If he can recruit like an LSU coach should recruit, he well do well at LSU. LSU usually has more talent than ND does.

That seemed like a mess. Was there a fight? 'Bunch of penalties? How K-state came away with no point on that possession seems strange.

I never even questioned this pick until I fell behind in the pick 'em. I'm kicking myself for switching away from USC and MSU on their game day. I'd be two games ahead right now. Probably be in the .1 percentile.

I give LSU credit for playing with 40 or less scholarship players available and a former receiver at QB.
