Pere Pete Thamel:
Can confirm that Will Wade is no longer the basketball coach at LSU. Sources tell ESPN the scope of the allegations in the Notice Of Allegations is the reason for his dismissal. Wade is not expected to be paid out any of the remaining money on his deal.

If this doesn't fall under lack of lack of institutional control nothing does.

Wade should never be allowed to coach in the NCAA again.  He likely could end up doing some time, also.

Interesting take comparing him to Pruitt and saying Wade is worse (I agree!) though we may not yet know full extent of Pruitt

https://6park.news/tennessee/fired-lsu-basketball-coach-will-wade-is-worse-than-fired-vols-football-coach-jeremy-pruitt.html

The last line is very good.

I can’t believe LSU would let her keep his job for so long. I’m not a fan of the NCAA, but I wouldn’t blame them for harshly criticizing LSU just because they let Wade stick around for so long.

Great point!  We got rid of Pruitt promptly, but LSU kept their D-bag around.  I hope the NCAA hammers them hard (not holding my breath though!).

And yes, I fully realize that it's easier to let go a guy that is losing than a guy that is winning, but regardless we handled it right and they did not.  Period, dot.
