We've got some big time edge rushers coming in next year. I suspect that will go a long way toward curing what ails us.

I’m not certain that we have the type of athletes on D yet. Hopefully we are recruiting them.

Need to find that Tiger Woods killer instinct...We don't have it. We were up 17 with 7:55 left and told my wife we would be lucky to hold on.....And we were.

How we can be so bad on defense is beyond me..

Agree 100%, and this was true at Pitt also although the specifics were/are a lot different.

But let's not miss a key takeaway...this time WE WON.  Both times.  

And we beat a couple old bothersome tropes in the process.  (1) Cain't ever beat the backup QB (see Pitt game)  (2) Cain't ever beat the gaytors in a close game (see UF game).

I am not happy about how we won either, agree 100% we should have put them both away earlier, but maybe we are finally exorcising some of the demons.
