Good:

Herndon Hooker. Reminds me of Tony Robinson everytime he plays - so many huge throws. His best game as a Vol
O Line: Overall good, especially Darnell Wright.
Receivers: Bru, Keyton, Hyatt pretty much did what they wanted. Keyton's spectacular laying out for the catch was an all time top 5 Vol catch
Run game: Vols ran for around 200 yards.
DL. Especially Thomas, who is turning into a beast.
Kick return: Holiday had 2 really nice KO returns

Bad:
Linebackers. Decent against the run, but terrible vs the pass.
Penalties
Fant. Bad game for him, especially early with the false start and the fumble
Late game play calling. Got conservative up 38-21 and let UF back in the game.

Ugly:
Entire secondary. possibly one of the worst games I have seen our secondary play. Not sure what the solution is
Onsides kick coverage on the second kick. What was that?

I went back and watched the 2nd on-side kick. What was Fant doing? I’m not sure but it looked to me like he thought that he might need to field the kick, then way too late he went to block the UF defender(s). That’s not his responsibility, I’m fairly certain, but maybe that’s what he was thinking?

Possibly I have it wrong but that’s how it looked to me.

Fant had a really bad game overall, but he did block well.

I agree, just not on that kick.

I have no problem going to clock draining, but run the offense instead of making "run" the offense.

100% agree. Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.

Fine thoughts offered are above so I shall add the below drivel.

1) Hyatt has taken blocking personally. One of the things I loved about Javonta Payton was his enthusiastic blocking. Hyatt isn't at the level, but he's giving it his all.

2) They caught the ball. I'm talking about everyone. Three or four drops can change the game, but it wasn't just routine catches. McCoy and Keyton made tough grabs.

3) Fant continues to be really bad. I abhor naming players, but this is a continuation of disastrous play. It appears he have missed a block that lead to Hooker's amazing scramble, botched the onside kick, had a brutal fumble on the opening drive, and misran a route on the final drive. He's a poor blocker on his best days, and Warren isn't much better, but #87 has to take most snaps.

4) Offensive line play continues to be solid. Hooker's mobility helps, but we're much improved from last year.

5) We not be spectacular at RB, but those guys run hard.

6) Hats off to Rodney Garner was preparing and playing a bunch of guys.
