It's an obvious attempt to raise funds.

But yeah, anyone who thinks they actually need the money is high as fizzle.   

In 2021, revenue was $133M, with about half coming from TV rights (divided as direct to UT and from the conference about 50/50), with about another 40% being ticket sales and contributions, and the remaining 10% royalties and merchandising fees.

Numbers are pretty rough, I just went through it quickly.

The money request seems a little cheesy.

The $100,000.00 fine is for a second offense. According to the SEC, the first offense was charging the basketball court after beating UF in 2006!  Is there no Statute of Limitations on these things? Sheesh. 16years?

those were before they had a policy

but yeah, I'm with Droner, there should be a statute of limitations
