The orange helmets, now that I’ve seen them, don’t look awful. I would like to see what the combo of orange helmet, white jersey, and orange britches would look like.

I doubt it. How many folks have any black UT gear, much less for cold/rainy weather? I have a whole drawer and probably 30% of a closet full of UT stuff, and I only have one black t shirt. |

I don't own any black UT gear (and certainly wouldn't make a special effort to wear black to a game) but for as long as I can remember it seems the stadium takes on a blackish tint when cold weather arrives...as if folks' cold weather gear is more black than orange. Just an observation I've always made. Incidentally, the NWS still has a 50% chance of rain in the forecast for Knoxville Saturday night, but the rain chances appear to be diminishing until sometime on Sunday. |

I'm not a fan of black, but those helmets are about 10,000 times better than the white helmets we've worn the last two times the black jerseys came out.

No. There is a grass roots effort but it will fail. Most fans not onboard with it. |

There was a time the team didn't know about the uniforms until after pregame and they went back in the locker room...Now everyone knows days before the game.
