Hey, I went through that crap at the induction center on Central, across from the old Sears store

Maybe, just maybe I was went to that equivalent of the Group W bench ...

BTW, the ONLY lottery I ever won was the Draft Lottery

It’s not so much a song about dodging the draft as it is a song making fun of silly government bureaucracy.

It’s not so much a song about dodging the draft as it is a song making fun of silly government bureaucracy.

There is a strong element of protest against Vietnam in it.  The whole point of the chorus line is a protest against Vietnam, that's the point of the song.

Didn't know PV was a pot smoking hippie back in the 70s
