Hello All Just wanted to post about something that has happened in my life. Linda (my SO) has passed away. On February 17th Linda quietly passed away in her sleep at NHC Farragut. As many of you know Linda had Colon cancer back in 2013 from the effects of her working in Y12, K25, and X10 due to her exposure to the different chemicals and other hazards present within the Energy Complex in Oak Ridge. She had some problems that occurred after 2017 nd this caused her some difficulties within the area of her renal systems that ultimately were the cause of death. Due to these failures her electrolytes and other body processes were affected in that the Kidneys and Liver could not balance the materials needed for her to thrive and live. I have been starting on the path of handling her Estate since I am the appointed Executor and that has delayed me posting this information to the board. I know several people had met Linda over the course of the years that she was around and had attended some of the tailgates that I used to host out of the trailer.  This is a pic of Linda along with my dad and a friend of his attending the first game that Linda attended in a long time. She has issues attending in the 90s and so therefore I was there and she was at home watching. But after a few years she started coming to the games with me and I always enjoyed having her there with me. Pirate I would like to add Linda to the host of pictures of people we have lost during our countdown as an honor to my SO and her love and caring for me. Thank you very much. |
