Clemson IF Billy Amick, who hit .413 and was 1st team all ACC this year, just committed. And we’re probably not done. This team will be right back in the thick of things next year.

Look at these Portal rankings. We may be losing #1 Burns (though fresh speculation this morning is that he may actually return to UT), but we have #2, #3, and #6 in the boat, and many think we lead for #5 Holman. And Gelanie is probably VERY underrated at #40. He’ll be a big time contributor if we don’t lose him in the draft.

Still think it is messing things up. All these teams losing good players and acting like it's okay. Yet we cheer when a guy abandons his school for ours. I just think it is shady recruiting transfers. But it's the way it is.

If that's the way it is, then we either compete or die. The system should definitely be changed and I expect it will be to some extent.

LSU just won the CWS on the backs of transfers. If that’s “shady”, then sign me up for it.

To be successful, schools are going to necessarily use NIL and the transfer portal. It is the new normal in college athletics. That said, free agency was a huge factor in ruining professional sports for me - I hope that the same doesn't end up being true for college athletics.

The rich get richer. How will schools with little money or tv exposure compete? I would say make them set out a year. Then see if they still want to transfer. If they do, then it is legit. No love for the school that recruited them and they signed with first.
