I?ve been hearing from bammers for like 5 years now that whenever Saban retires, they?ll just go get Dabo and not miss a beat. I wonder how that plan is working out for them.
The bammer fans in your area are a bit behind the times. After he skunked bammer's arse in the 2018 a lot of them soured on him. Which is probably even more true now.
Personally I don't think he would have done it anyway (or won't). Whoever follows saban will be in one of the most unwinnable pressure cooker situations ever. He won't be able to do anything right. Anything less than back to back NCs starting out is unacceptable (if I exagerate, its only slightly). Vs. (at least until recently) Dabo is a folk hero and all time best coach at a school with a good area for recruiting and a very soft schedule, year in, year out.
Why in the HELL would he go to bammer? He wouldn't. I'd give 10 to 1 odds on that, easily.
