Got a key ingrediant for the OL
Got a good gap filler for the DL
a 5* QB answered his "calling" to be a VOL

Oh, and 3 weeks ago our current 5* QB led us to a 35-0 Bowl win in his first start

It's GREAT to be a Tennessee VOL!

My biggest question is how many seasons do these QB's hang around if they are on the bench? Which one wants to set for multiple seasons? Damn that transfer portal.

Well considering that Nico has to stay at least three years, GMAC is likely to only be on the bench one year, and I am pretty sure he can take that.

If Nico doesn't go pro in 2026, then we may have a problem, but by then maybe the 4 star we have will have worked out or we get another  star.

I mean, it's not hard to figure this out.  Unless you just always want to put the most negative spin on things.  For some reason.

If you want to spin something negative, what about bama?  They are in shambles.

DeBoer is a good coach who gets a lot out of his players, but I already like our odds this fall.

The odd man out may end up being Merklinger, the 2024 4* we signed

Whose to say one of these guys isn't better than Nico. Will Heupel give them a chance. Is the job up for grabs at anytime?

Unfortunately, there is always gonna be a lot of players that want to play for Bama because "it's Bama". He might be an better X's and O's coach and motivator than Saban. I hope not. We will see. He better be as good as advertised. His first home game in Tuscaloosa is against UGa. They play Wisconsin before that game. The Gumps will turn on him fast. No pressure..lol.

Maybe.  But does bama have the money to keep those kids now?  I have no doubt the "bama brand" still has some attractiveness, but how much of that was saban?  (and the money he was paying under the table of course).

How well did USC do without Carroll? How well did Nebraska do without Osbourne?  How well did FSU do after BB got dementia?  And so on.

The track record of replacing a legend is not good, to say the least.

And yes...there is more pressure in gumpland, than, well, pretty much anywhere.
