Some of those deep threes were exactly how he practices them pregame (!60 min before game time he comes out and practices FT, threes from deep and at the line all the way around the court and works on moves with a grad assistent and manager for pull up jumpers, exactly like the one in the run last night
He does this every game.
He and the grad assistant work on a different move every game, last night he was putting hands on DK as he went around a screen, expecting Auburn to be handsy and they were

DK is damn good but he works his ass off to be that good

A few points:
On the first play against Broome, Broome is too busy whining to play defense
On the 2nd, #10 (who was abused all night by DK) just shaddows Awaka after the switch and makes NO attempt to contest the drive by DK, while Broome is jogging behind him - Aurburn usually switched on the screens, whereas the VOLS tend to fight through the picks if they can
We ran several plays where DK posts up low on the left block and cuts off screens to the wing
On the last play, where DK is effectively guarding nobody, you can see Pearl going ballistic as DK drains the transition trey

Also, not shown, is the final play of the 1st half
We lined up DK on the right side of the FT line.  I expected DK to cut to the left wing/corner off a double screen for the final shot.
He did, but at least 2 defenders went with him, leaving ZZ with an open trey which he drained
It is called the "DK effect"

I think DK locked up SEC POY and put himself squarely in the Naismith race last night. There were a lot of eyeballs on that game, probably including many who hadn?t seen him play before. It?ll be the same for our last three- so if he finishes strong, he may take home a lot of hardware.

A great game. It's still amazing he's a 5th year player yet he wasn't on many folks radar for 4 years. That's quite the story within itself.
