We miss Marvin and Ben running the sports departments of the papers.  Two good writers and men, unlike the pure CRAP we have today!
I knew Mr. West as a kid.  He managed a rival LL team in Powell.  Fierce competetor he was but went out of his way to work with and recognize others.

The game might have been sold out, but there were a lot of open seats. I'd say that the place was at 90% capacity at best, surprising since it was such a big game
