I wish Kellie well
She has been, is and forever will be a VFL

Now we find out who?s really in charge of that program. If they replace her with Kara Lawson or another one of Pat?s girls, then it ain?t Danny White.

There was a long runway so hopefully an excellent replacement is in queue.

BTW, I know this is real now, but I had to check to make sure when I first heard it. Seems like a PR misstep to announce it on April Fool?s day.

I appreciate the first money-saving initiative in program history.

According to another site, she would have been allowed to stay on one more year if she had been willing to make major staff changes; in other words, get rid of her husband. She declined, according to the report and it was a mutual parting of ways.

If that is true, she did not want to keep the job imo.

Maria is as plugged in as anybody with regards to LVB
Got to know her a bit way back in the Gridscape days

I agree the weak link on her staff was her husband

In general, recruiting has suckd across the board
In game management from the staff has suffered IMO

The weak link was recruiting. Which was on her. She never had anything like the talent Pat had. Did she ever have A players good as she was? What we found out was. It was about Pat--Not Tennessee.

That is 100 percent false...She had zero options...she was fired.

That crap came from a article that Maria wrote on 247 and she didn't have a clue....she retracted it quick fast and in a hurry.

Ok. She should not have had the option to return imo.

This.  I met Joyce Edwards (5* that just went to USC) and the #1 reason she chose USC over UT was the LVB staff couldn't connect with her because 'they seemed old and disconnected'. and she wanted UT

Wow that's quite an indictment

I just wish we had gone ahead and beaten usc junior in the SEC tournament

I wish Kellie well and appreciate her effort
