Because now we?re clearly conceding another game to little brother. Today?s lineup features Antigua at SS, Bargo at 3B, and Peebles at C, with Amick at DH. Zander is starting on the hill, but after him it will be a parade of midweek guys.

I?m fine with throwing a game and getting some rest, I just wish it didn?t have to be to the west end boiz.

A couple of points
Antigua is damn good defensive player and Curly has been slumping a bit
Pebbles was supposed to be our every day catcher but slumped early
Been hitting better
Billy Barrels has been slumping lately

They should never throw a game. The effing coach is getting paid to win. Lame shizzle. No excuses although y'all have plenty for it.

There is no reason to exhaust a pitching staff for a tourney that does not matter.

L$U went through at nine (9) pitchers yesterday (at least 7 through significant number of pitches and so should not be available today)
The VOLS used two (2)
Zander going six innings was huge and Phillips being able to complete the game saved arms, as well as Tony and Frank showing him their confidence in him should help him going forward
Loy was ready in the barn and may get the start for his usual 2 innings today (he has been the Tuesday starter and usually went 2)
I think today will be a lot like a Tuesday game pitching wise

We are in good shape for today and the regionals

FWIW, I think we sealed the #1 seed in the NCAA yesterday (I think we were going to be #1 but getting to the finals cemented it - today, like the basketball SEC finals, doesn't mean squat from the NCAA perspective)
