I guess Chase needs to spend a little more time in that vaunted ?pitching lab?.

The entire team and coaching staff found it difficult to breath from the self choking going on
This after ECU used 2.3M pitchers in the top of the 9th to atttempt to choke the game away

Definitely a choking contest. Top of the 9th was just an absolute shizzleshow by ECU. Then Wake said ?hold my beer?.

Yesavage is really tough for ECU, but nothing else about that team scares me. In fact, I would bet right now that they don?t make it to Knoxville.

It's nice to know that Burns didn't have to come out of the bullpen this season.

Really "killed the narrative", didn't he?

Notice how UT got better when he left the clubhouse and Wake got worse after being No.1 in the preseason?

Between Burns and Maui Ahuna, I think CTV learned some valuable lessons on culture and roster management last year. Burns (and his handlers) was just a pain in the ass, and I don't think they'll let anyone get away that kind of BS again. Ahuna was by all accounts a good teammate, but his NIL deal apparently caused friction.

In Rick Barnes, we have maybe the best "culture coach" in any sport anywhere. The rest of our coaches would do well to seek his advice.
