Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

Pitching has been our Achilles heel. How we've gotten this far I do not know, but it would be nice to eek out a couple of wins before going home.

Pitching hasn't been great, but the defense has done us in tonight. And it's not just the errors. I hate to say it, but our middle infielders just don't have much range. We give up more seeing-eye singles through the infield than any team I've ever seen. Those are balls that a better defender gets to. I really hope that Antigua makes a big offensive leap next year, because we know he can flash the leather. Put him at SS and move Curley to 3B, where he should thrive. That should shore up the left side. What we do at 1B and 2B is anyone's guess. I'm guessing neither of those guys are on the roster yet.
