Well. She will have to miss a few games, for sure.

Pat would've popped that sucker out at halftime and been right back on the sideline in the 2nd half.

Serious comment...the Federal goverment now allows 3 months paid Parental Leave for both fathers and mothers (and I assume "others"  ).  I have had three employees on Parental Leave this year, including a Team Lead (the level right under me) that I heavily depend on. I consider her almost to be my deputy.

It has been a huge hit to me as a supervisor. I am glad that my employees get such a perk, but Congress doesn't seem to consider how disruptive that is to the employer.  Bunch of GD commies.

Not sure what the UT policy is, but I am certain they have a generous Parental Leave policy.  My guess is that she may work less hours but hardly miss a game.  And that should be the expectation for a Head Coach.  IMO.

DW probably had this baked into the cake when he made the hire. You bring in a young, newlywed, childless coach, you know it?s just a matter of time. I?m sure she probably wishes she could?ve timed it for an offseason birth, but it?ll be fine. Expectations aren?t that high for this season anyway.

My wife is in HR management and she's been in HR for 37 years. Same thing happened to her less than 3 years ago...They hired another manager who was 8 months pregnant when they hired her....She worked 2 weeks and went out on maternity leave...and stayed out for 7 months. She came back to work and 2 months later informed my wife she was pregnant again...When she went out on maternity leave again she was out 5 months...So when she had been with the company for approximately 20 months she had actually been out 12 of those months....My wife about went crazy doing 2 jobs...

But wait...there's more. In a tad over 2 years with the company and actually being onsite only 12 months....She was promoted to corporate and moved up into the Crystal Cathedral. Can you say Professional ass kisser

Wow. Your wife has a right to be pissed about that, for sure.
