I think we are a good football team--but we have nothing yet to tell us if we are pretty good or damn good. N C State is not a good team, so I view all 3 games as not testing us. I am nervous, but feel OK because I think Oklahoma is only a pretty good team at best, but certainly our first test. We should know a lot more about us after this game.
Agree that NC state is "not that great", but also >>>>> chattanooga, Kent state

And yeah, I know its a very low bar, but NC State was in fact ranked 24 coming into the game and is still considered to have a shot to win the ACC.
Realistically, ask yourself how a Pruitt, Jones or Dooley team would have fared, and I like to say even Kiffin laid a few eggs in his brief time here.
Best case for the post-Fulmer, pre-Heupel era...we show up lifeless, seem uninspired, make a lot of mistakes, give up more yards than expected and cling to a slim lead entering the fourth quarter and somehow hold on to win 30-28 after barely scoring on a lucky play at the end of the game.
And even Fulmer had games like that in the latter part of his career!
Worst case, we lose.
Against that, 51-10 looks good even against a mediocre team!
