That means the President, the Chancellor and the AD are all set to serve 5 more years, at least

Listening to Donde speak at the Alumni Tailgate Saturday I think she is very happy here and is implimenting more things to improve the University and more importantly, to her, student life on campus

We are blessed with damn good leadership at the moment, and hope that it continues beyond the 5 years to come (believe Boyd will retire at the end of his 5 years though)

I would say purgatory though, cause hell is permanent.

Meant to add, I think Chancellor Ploughman is great, as I am sure most every alumnus or taxpayer does, but reviews on Boyd are mixed, to say the least. I attended the game with a recent (2021) grad, the nephew of my best friend from college, and he said that Boyd seems very political to him.  I have heard much worse from a former resident of Knoxville that moved to Huntsville, none of which I will repeat pubically.

Personally I am mostly neutral to him, since I have zero direct contact with him and haven't really been following the University leadership activities that closely, but since he was a long time politician in the Knoxville area prior to his UT tenure, I think some wariness of him is quite warranted.

My 2-3 interactions with him have been very positive
