If Nico is out, then yes, we do. Because if we don't, they will absolutely use that as an excuse to move less-deserving teams ahead of us.

I think enough teams ahead of us have lost that we would get in at 10-2, assuming Nico comes back. But if he doesn't, they'll screw us over.

I still think it is too early to speculate.  Lots of things can happen (remember that last regular season weekend of '97).

That said, I think Tennessee has a spot with a competitive game in Athens and wins over UTEP and Vandy. Just my $0.02 worth.
