Why we let Beck sit back there and get comfortable and blow us up, I have no idea.

Whoa. That's quite the discrepancy. Beck had time, and Nico did not.

No sacks, no real pressure at all
Nico is more Milton-like than Hooker-like in accuracy right now
We got out-schemed

If Heuple is such an offensive guru, why does an offense with this much talent struggle so much? Our 5* players never seem to play like other teams 5* players. Damn, the Vandy game will be a toss up. Heuple has to quit having a shizzle the bed game every season.

Vandy game not a toss up at all.  They have a better chance than normal, but still about 5:1 in favor of Vols.

Does make you wonder if defenses have figured him out.

Heupel's offense is a gimmick offense...I said that in year one. If we don't go warp speed which causes mismatches and confuses the defense then we are a very vanilla offense...Notice the warp speed has slowed way down the past two seasons? Notice how the points have dropped.....And yes....UGA bad out schemed us on both sides of the ball...Heupel and company got schooled. Concerning. Also...we continue to be in the bottom 10-15 in the country each year under Heupel in penalities....When that continues year after year that 100 percent on coaching.

IIRC, in his first and maybe even second year, or at least the first part of it, we were exceptionally good at avoiding penalties.  That has certainly regressed!

As for the hurry up, not only do we not use it as much, but we will (way more often than we used to, and IMO too much) rush to the line as usual, then stand around 15 20 seconds and change the play.  It reminds me of (ugh) Randy Sanders, who always seemed to struggle to get the call in on time.  I would submit that, substitutions aside, rushing to the LOS and then standing there while the clock runs down, is NOT in fact working very well, though it can sometimes and is always something we have done, but now it seems to be the norm.

We've been way down the list in the country in penalities the past 3 seasons....As in the bottom 10-12. Bad coaching.

Is the Nil money being well spent? Are these recruits not as good as advertised? Maybe we we can see why Nico wasn't used more last season. If not for the Arky game, we were probably a playoff bound team. Now it will take a lot of help.

Per the Allstate App, we are 66% to make the playoffs. I would not call that "a lot" of help. Maybe just a liddle biddy bit.
