Eh, I think you have to give the D a B+ or at least a B. They held them scoreless, and had an int. Only good play all quarter by UTEP was the trick play. Offense truly deserved the F though. I'd say F-  |

Why do the Vols seem to get worse as the season goes on under Heuple? Seems like every year. Or is it just my imagination?
Its your imagination. Believe it or not we had three straight games not scoring in the first half, which ended against UK. So yeah, there has been improvement from mid-season at least. |

yes Because I have knowledge of the game Says you. I just judge on what I see on the field. Any decent team we have played has made our offense and Nico look mediocre at times. You honestly think this team could be any of the Top 5. I hope you are right. |

I didn't have a chance to comment during the game, but some comments. 1. The slow offensive start. I am SO tired of this. I hope it does not occur vs. Vandy. a. I think Nico is too laid back at the start of the game. He needs to show a bit more fire and passion. b. Why do we call so many passes early in the game (that Nico fizzles up?). We have Sampson. Start out running the dam ball! 2. Nice recovery by the offense. 3. Really good performance by the defense. (And Pirate, this is an "A". You really can't give anything less on a shut out  ). 4. Looking forward to Vandy! I plan to go. |

Hopefully none of the injuries were too serious. We had a bunch on the ground and in the tent today. I hate Vandy. They definitely haven't been Vandy like this season. Their QB is a handful.
