...or Literally Hitler, depending on who you ask.

Yes, I'm picking up my new Tesla.

The libs hate Elon. I'm owning the libs.

Seriously though, I love all the cool tech on them, and the prices are insanely low right now. I buy any other vehicle with all these bells and whistles, I'm probably shelling out at least 80 grand.

You should love the Tesla. I have a friend that has two of them. He said they are the best vehicles he has ever owned. He said the only people who do not like them are idiots that don't learn bout them and experience them. That being said, the liberals should hate me. I just picked up a Hummer EV pickup about 6 weeks ago. It is inefficient and electric. It is the most incredible vehicle I've ever owned. It weights around 10'000 lbs but it will do 0-60 in about 2.9 seconds. It has got some heavy assed batteries. It also has the adjustable suspension, the crab walk steering, removable roof panels. It also has underbody cameras with washers on them to see the terrain under you. It will go about 350 miles on a charge. If you haven't seen one up close , you should just for shizzles and giggles. It is a total beast that is about as impractical as a vehicle can be. It is an awesome Neptune blue color. The only reason I got it was they game me a deal I couldn't refuse. I was not an EV fan. It changed my thinking. Wife drives it to work all week and we just charge it once. By then it is usually down to 35% charge. Your Tesla win knock your socks off. The hardest part to get used to is not hearing a V8 growl or any growl.

Yeah, I'm under no illusions that I'm doing any better for the planet than in a gas-power vehicle. I know the damage that cobalt mining is doing in DRC. This isn't a socially conscious purchase. I just think that in the segment I'm looking at (small SUVs), the Model Y offers the best bang for the buck. The CRVs, Tucsons, and RAV 4s I was looking at actually cost more and do less. We'll see if all the stopping to charge on long roadtrips gets tiresome, but I don't really expect to be taking many long roadtrips anyway. Anything farther than, say, Florida, I'll just fly there.

I have friends with Teslas and have drove them, their acceleration is incredible. I also recently rode in a Cybertruck....nice ride but IMO look like an F-117

No, it looks like a garbage can
You just insulted F-117s everywhere (and yes, some are still flying)
