.....but it's really hard to pull for them.

They are, in great part, responsible for the conference rearrangements in the past 20 years. Their greed killed the Southwestern Conference and the Big 8. They are probably the most arrogant program in NCAA football. Even more so than Bama. And with less reason.

And it's particularly galling that they may win the SECCG in their first year in the conference.

Oh well, it doesn't matter now. I just love it (sarcasm) when they hand it off 7 yards behind the line of scrimmage trying to get a couple of yards.

Meh. I don't like them, but I could care less what happened to the SWC.  And actually, my take on the SWC is that they broke up due to turning each other in for cheating. Now, I do think Texas behaved badly in the transition to the Big 12 and definitely hurt that conference (they basically ran oft Nebraska for one thing), but at the end of the day its not a big deal to to me because we have rarely played them (or not at all???).

Bama on the other hand, is (other than vandy) our most ancient rival, and by far the most hated.

Nothing compares to their arrogance.

As far as Texas arrogance...it more a refletion of their state.

I attended the Tamu game in 2016.  You know they play the Texas anthem before every game and expect everyone to stand? I sat my butt in the seat. I am not a resident of Texas, fizzle that!

I liked the old conferences. Missouri, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma don't belong in the SEC. There is no real connection to the original members.

Nebraska in the Big 10. Insane! And look at the abomination that is the ACC. Stanford, Cal, SMU.

Quite frankly, at this point, you could do away with the conferences and at the end of the year, pick the best 16 teams to be in a playoff. The conferences are fupped duck anyway. And the conference championship games are a waste of time.

And don't get me started about the conference basketball tournaments.
