He would have played less than that if he was still here last Saturday night

Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

I know the foot surgery didn't help, but he was a bust last year. He missed so many shots from within 3 ft of the basket. He had terrible hands, couldn't catch a pass consistently, more often than not the ball would just slip through his hands. If he happened to catch a pass under the basket, instead of going straight up (like Phillips does now, or Okpara) he'd immediately begin dribbling the ball and get it stolen or a jump ball. I was glad to see him go and if Ark had watched film I can't understand why they wanted him...well he could block a shot once in a while but not enough to justify a starting spot.

I can easily explain why Arkansas wanted him: the hubris of their HC, who thought he could develop him into a superstar.

Glancing at the title of the article in the link, I thought he literally went AWOL as in "He's gone and coaches can't get ahold of him".
