We couldn't throw it in the ocean tonight.     Team looked out of gas.

Zakai in particular had an awful night. I think he wsa 1 of 12 from 3 point range?

I get that they say "keep shooting, it will fall" but I think this is one time he should have passed it a bit more.

Then again, a lot times it seemed he was the only one that wanted to shoot

I was so disappointed with our next to last possession, down three.  We looked lost and just didn't execute.  Give UK some credit for good D, but we didn't seem to have a plan or actually be running a play.

Barnes should have called a TO and set something up I guess.

Finally, we have to figure out how to get Lanier open.  It seems a big part of the scouting on him is to get far out on him way beyond the 3 point line and it seems to be working.  Gotta free him up some how.

Their legs were tired from the football game they played Saturday night

We also didn't have a sufficient since of urgency late in the game, specifically between 1-2 minutes left (see the possession where Gaines turned the ball over with less than 10 on the shot clock as an example). Also several times ZZ just walked the ball up

Large parts of the game we just stood around, meanwhile #2 for them ran around like Vescevi did, and got open

We made an effort to drive to the bucket to get back in the game and then stopped driving

Igor and D-Stone had good games
A lot of things D-Stone did don't make the box score but he made a difference tonight
He made a save on one play where he got mugged on a board, with no call

Also, they had their bigs out on the wing a lot, drawing our bigs out.
We switched at times and the bigs failed to rotate under or to the corner, they made a 3 in the first half when Cade failed to switch correctly, hell Gainey was chest bumping their big in the lane after the switch

Yeah that turnover by Gainey sucked.  The defender gets some credit, but mostly Gainey just looked really clumsy to me. Horrible time for that!
