https://x.com/AustinPriceless/status/1886409654512578981Expect Coach Chop to be named replacement In my view, an improvement of coaching level for OLBs Who gets the title of Special Teams coach, who knows, but it really is by committee in any case as different coaches had responsiblility for each ST group My bet is we get a a QC/Grad Assistant who does the real work behind the scenes while an assistant gets the title

I called him going to Nebraska a few weeks back. The Cornhuskers were calling. Home calling is hard to turndown.

Didn't see that I think, assuming Coach Chop gets the spot (I believe it is 99.9% he does) it will be an upgrade of on the fielf coaching Also, ST performance has dipped (especially coverage squads) and I fail to understand why you don't put your most dynamic player back on punt returns at the start of the season rather than well past mid season Yes, there is potential for some errors but the "veteran" made errors as well and was far less dynamic with the ball in his hands

It wasn't here....It was on another site. Matt Rhule was calling him early January.
Agree on the ST's. Who's going to teach our punt returners to let the ball bounce and roll 25 yards....Fair catch kickoffs....The PAT O-lineman flop....and the Aussie punt shank?

With you on letting the ball roll, though I think that improved from '23 to '24 at least. Fair catching kickoffs is often the best choice, unless you like starting on your own 17 or 12 vs. the 25. PAT Oline flop...not a fan of it and not sure it accomplishes that much, particularly since we have slowed down the offensive tempo anyway. Aussie punt shank...didn't happen that often by my memory, but my memory may not be accurate.

A lot of shanks and line drives I recall one or two in the vandy game, now that you mention it, and maybe another vs OSU? Something to keep an eye on for sure, I guess, but I think he did better most of the year. Hopefully an anomaly.
